We are still living in a society with tremendous theocratic influence, which dictates both laws and culture, and there are still very common misconceptions around Satanism. But modern Satanism is flourishing, with a renewed emphasis on charitable work and activism, and I’m optimistic about its future.”

First of all I want to thank you for supporting my art and using Oracle Poggz. This edition is my favorite yet and I hope for it to be an expansive journey of understanding and kindness to oneself. 

The Satanic Panic I am referring to in this edition is a moral panic that heightened in the 1980s but is still present today. Thousands of false allegations of “ritual abuse” were recorded globally, sending the public into a frenzy of fear, book burning, accusations and distrust amongst communities. In retrospect we are able to see how powerful fear is and how quickly folks can join the herd for fear of being shamed and ostracized. 

At the heart of this fear is the interpretation of what is good and what is evil: believing objects, music, role-playing games, pleasures etc. can be inherently evil and any exposure to them will make the exposed evil or possessed (it has been noted that this particular panic was well-timed with the release of movies like The Exorcist and Rosemary’s Baby).

I believe that panics like this are caused mostly by a lack of discernment, accountability and authenticity. A lot of people are taught to be ashamed of themselves and are trying to hide something genuine out of fear of persecution. Often they will lose that important, authentic self-connection that creates confidence and accountability. Without the willingness to be accountable for one’s actions and the confidence to know the truth, most people learn to blame external things and people for any misfortune or doubt. They become abhorrent to change and shun what/who is different. Shame and conformity overrule their ability to discern what is true.

This Satanic Panic edition of Oracle Poggz is here to remind you that you can trust yourself. That enjoying a song or having interest in ancient teachings will not change you without your permission. That allowing yourself consensual and safe pleasure is nothing to be ashamed of. That your discernment is good, you know what’s ok for you, and as long as we respect the autonomy of others, we can celebrate and luxuriate in the things we are interested in. 

The Oracle Poggz Satanic Panic Edition asks us to look at the “forbidden”.                                                                                                                                                  To use our own discernment when making decisions and to enjoy life without shame...

Augurium- “Divination”

Try a new divination tool or one you haven’t used in a while. Make your own divination tools, potions, spells, etc. Divination is creation. 

To manifest your desires at this time you will need to break away from routine rituals. Look within and ask your guides for inspiration- then flow with your magic, allow the ritual to come to you and through you! 

Trust that you have a unique power within you.

Alimentum- “Nourishment”

Your ancestors and the world around you have passed down a relationship with food. Look at how this has shaped your idea of nourishment. No one should ever feel shame for nourishing themselves, treating themselves, or needing to be nourished. 

Try a new recipe or restaurant. Get creative in the kitchen. Add love to your food while you cook it. 

Bless a meal before you eat it and reaffirm that blessing with each bite.

Tu Quid Spectas- “You Are What You Watch”

What movie/TV characters do you emulate and why? You are what you watch, be careful not to immerse yourself in a world that brings you down and try not to pigeonhole yourself as a movie character, you are far too vast to be anyone but yourself. 

Binge Watch Depression is a real thing, learn to discern your own reality from the things you watch. If you're feeling icky you can take a break from shows, or watch something uplifting.

You deserve to relax, without shame, and be a couch potato.

Voluptus- “Pleasure”

Be your own person, own who you truly are: your pleasures, desires, kinks. 

Live authentically while respecting the autonomy of others. You will begin to see the magic in your uniqueness. Shine that magical light on the world. 

You do not have to enjoy what your friends enjoy but you can find enjoyment knowing they are happy. 

The best time to manifest is when you are feeling joyful, try casting a spell the next time you have a smile on your face, or send out vibrations of love and gratitude. 

Celebrate pleasure!

Canticum- “Song”

You are being sent messages through music, listen carefully. Music is a great communicator, a universal language. Express yourself through music and dance. Listen to something that validates you. Ring bells or play an instrument. Correspond to the nature of your song.

Also, just in case, you may want to play your records backwards.

Scientia sit Potentia- “Knowledge is Power”

It is time to go down the rabbit hole. Research an unexplored interest, this will open new doors, ambitions and opportunities. This chapter may be over but the book continues- look forward to endless possibilities! Bibliomancy is a divination practice where you flip to a random page in a book and divine on what is written.

Remember to not obstruct knowledge from others for your own benefit. We all must be allowed the freedom to read what we wish.
